Occassionally we come across that rare beast - a 9.5mm home movie with sound. In this case of life in France in 1949.
With the cost of cine cameras and equipment in the immediate post war era it is not surprising that these are rare to find - even more so having survived 70 years !

I am really pleased that the work of this skilled cinematographer is being enjoyed generations later, and thanks to the wonders of our modern technology by a far wider audience now that he can ever have imagined !
